The rate of division of most vertebrate cells is least likely to be influenced by?

The answer is D. Vertebrates are not dependent on light for any major growth. When vertebrate cells contact each other growth is stunted (this is called contact inhibition). Increasing temperature increases kinetics in the cells, increasing growth rate. Cells need protein synthesis to occur for growth, so blocking that would inhibit the process. And cell growth is nutrient dependent as well.
