Do I Have Problems With Food?
I'm 18 1/2 and male, and I've had body intense dissatisfaction since I was 16. I'm roughly 9-10 underweight for my height, but I still think I have to be skinnier, like 15-25 lb. underweight is what I want to be. I've tried restricting my food intake before to lose weight, but that only last for a few days, then I start to binge. Like today, I've eaten a ton of calories. While my parents were gone, I ate an ice cream cone and two pop tarts, over 800 calories, then I tried to throw it up, but I wasn't able too. Now, I just feel guilt. I hate my body, but I seem to have trouble controlling my food intake. I can't control my yearning to be skinnier or my binge episodes. What's my problem? Should I seek help for my binging?
