If I have a body of text, what is the most in depth method that can I use to detect plagiarism for free?

I am curious, how did you meet this person? Sounds reminiscent of a Nigerian scam.....but I would have to have some more info to say. Maybe they are using babelfish translator, sometimes the translation comes out strange.
