Why iam gaining weight?

hi, i have got my period on 3rd march and not having any period till now. i have 5 month old baby and i am feeding him. i have done home preganancy test which turned negative. i am gaining my weight too. i was 52 kgs. after delivery and now i am around 57 kgs.why is happening so ?
