How do I find out if a certain person is in tracy state prison?

Incarceration, release date and what the person was convicted of is considered public knowledge. Simply call the prison, ask for records, give the person's name ( or all the information you have) and they will tell you if he is there. PS....If his name is John Smith, you will need more than just his name. DOB or SS number, etc. I hope this helps you.
